INDIANAPOLIS -- A man is dead after he was shot on Indianapolis' northeast side Wednesday evening.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says the shooting happened around 10 p.m. in the 3100 block of Gladstone Avenue.
The victim, identified as Ivan Barnes, 41, of Indianapolis, fled from the scene after being shot, and was found dead in the 4200 block of E. 32nd Street.
Police did not have a description or any information on any possible suspects.
