INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead after crashing into a house and catching the house on fire Saturday night in Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Fire Department crews and emergency personnel were called around 9:30 p.m. to the 1900 block of Ralston Avenue, near East 19th Street and Hillside Avenue.
When they arrived, they found a man had struck a house and the van and house were on fire, IFD Battalion Chief Rita Reith said. The man later died.
No one was inside the home at the time of the crash, Reith said.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
