MONROE COUNTY, Ind. - A 27-year-old man was killed when the ATV he was driving rolled on top of him, conservation officers said.
The incident happened just before 4 p.m. Sunday on private property off Reeves Road in Monroe County.
Daniel Cutshaw, of Spencer, was driving up a steep hill when the ATV rolled backwards, pinning him underneath.
Cutshaw was wearing a helmet and other safety equipment, but he still suffered fatal head trauma, conservation officers said.
Cutshaw's passenger was able to jump off the ATV, escaping injury.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, officials said.
