Man fatally struck at Indiana truck stop

MEMPHIS, Ind. - A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in the dark parking lot of a southern Indiana truck stop, police said.

The man was found on the ground Thursday night at a truck stop just off Interstate 65 near the town of Memphis, about 15 miles north of Louisville.

Clark County sheriff's chief deputy Brian Meyer says investigators didn't know what vehicle hit the man but they didn't believe it was intentional.

Workers at the truck stop told WLKY-TV the man killed was a truck driver who was walking his dog.

The man's identity wasn't immediately released.
