INDIANAPOLIS -
A man was struck and killed by a car on the city’s west side Sunday, police said.
Just after midnight, Indianapolis police were called to the 3100 block of Georgetown Road on reports of a pedestrian struck.
Witnesses said an unidentified man stepped in front of a car traveling south on Georgetown Road before being hit.
Investigators said they don’t believe alcohol was a factor in the cause of the crash.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
Police did not release any details about the driver of the car involved in the crash.
Anyone with any information about crash was asked to call the IMPD at 317-327-3811.
