ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - A man died in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in southern St. Joseph County, officials said.
The incident happened on State Road 331, just south of Wyatt at 6:15 p.m.
Indiana State Police and first responders arrived to the scene and found a semi had collided head-on with a tree, authorities said.
Authorities said the driver of the semi, Andrew Ginther, 30, drove the truck off the west side of the road and into the tree for unknown reasons.
Ginther died at the scene, police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but officials said they do not believe that weather was a factor in the accident.
