INDIANAPOLIS – The man who was charged with three counts of reckless homicide in connection with a street racing crash that killed three people on Christmas Eve 2015 entered into a plea agreement Thursday.
Connor Tomlinson, 20, agreed to plead guilty to three counts of reckless homicide and will serve a total sentence of 14 years.
The agreement includes five years with the Department of Corrections, three years on home detention and six years on probation.
Tomlinson lost control of his Ford Mustang during the street race in the 4500 block of East Street and crashed into a Chevy Trailblazer killing 59-year-old Rogelia Legorreta, 52-year-old Rebecca Rodriguez and 12-year-old Jasmine Aldai-Rodriguez.

Witnesses said they saw the Mustang racing a Corvette.
Data recovered from the car showed it was traveling at least 81-miles-per-hour just prior to the crash. Police say the speed limit in the area is 40-miles-per-hour.

The agreement doesn't become formal until a judge accepts Tomlinson's plea. The court date is set for Oct. 3.
