INDIANAPOLIS - In yet another firearm-related incident in Indianapolis, a teenager was sent to the hospital in critical condition after being wounded by gunfire late Tuesday evening in an alley.
Indianapolis police (IMPD) said a bit before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, a report came in of someone who had been shot in an alley in the 1100 block of West 35th Street.
IMPD said when officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Investigators said the boy refused to say how he was shot, and the boy is refusing to cooperate on the investigation.
