INDIANAPOLIS -- A Marion County Sheriff's Deputy was hospitalized his motorcycle was hit by a car Friday morning.
The deputy was headed west on 16th Street toward the Indianapolis Motor Speedway when a car headed south tried to turn left from Goodlet Street and struck him.
The Marion County Sheriff says the deputy did have his emergency lights and siren on at the time of the accident.
