Marquette student from Ind. dies after fall in Rome river while studying abroad
Carr slipped, fell while walking with friends

MILWAUKEE - A Marquette University student from Greencastle, Ind. died after he fell from a ledge along the banks of a river in Rome, university officials said.
Andrew Keith Carr was walking with friends when he lost his balance and slipped, ABC affiliate WISN reports.
University officials said he died as a result of his injuries sustained from the fall.
He was a junior at the university studying in the College of Business Administration.
Carr was studying abroad at John Cabot University in Rome.
“Andrew’s light only graced this campus for a short time, but his memory will live in his family, his friends and our Marquette community forever,” University president Rev. Scott Pillarz said in a letter to the Marquette community.
