INDIANAPOLIS - One man has died after he and another man were found shot in a car on Indianapolis' north side, police said.

Officers were called to the 3200 block of Winthrop Avenue just after 4 p.m. Sunday, where they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds inside a car.

Both victims were taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital, where one of the men was pronounced dead. His name was not immediately released.

The other man was listed in fair condition Sunday.

Investigators said they believe the shooting may have taken place at a nearby intersection, with shots fired between the victims' car and another vehicle.
