Danville police searching for missing 17-year-old who suffers from a mental disorder

Police in Danville are searching for a missing teen who suffers from a mental disorder. 

Brandon Lee Phillips, 17, was last seen on September 6 around 2 p.m. at his home in the Crosswind Apartment Complex in Danville. 

Police say Phillips suffers from a mental disorder and may have the mental capacity of an 8-year-old according to police.

Phillips is adopted, but police believe he may be in the company of his biological brother Sebastian Dees, and mother, Laura Lee Hawks. They three are believed to be somewhere in the central Illinois area. Police are unable to contact any of the three.
