After mumps outbreaks at central Indiana colleges, students and staff at Butler University are required to get the MMR vaccine.
Nine cases have reported on Butler's campus.
About 1,600 Butler students, faculty and staff received the MMR vaccine at a clinic on Tuesday.
Another clinic is scheduled for Wednesday from 10 am. to 4 pm.
IU Bloomington also announced its fifth case of mumps on Monday.
IU will offer free MMR vaccines to help stop the spread of the mumps there.
Students and staff members can show their university IDs at the Indiana Memorial Union on Wednesday or Thursday to receive the booster shot.
As of Monday, Indiana has had 15 confirmed cases this year. That's nearly double the eight cases reported for all of 2014
Health officials fear the number could go up because mumps is so easy to spread.
