GREENWOOD, Ind. - A Mooresville man has been arrested after he solicited an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old girl, police said.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department began investigating Jeffrey Hance, 54, after receiving a tip that he "may have been sexually active with underage females."
An undercover officer began chatting with Hance while posing as a 15-year-old girl.
Police said Hance sent the "girl" pictures of his genitals and told the undercover officer he wanted to meet to have sex.
Hance showed up at the meeting place in Greenwood on Wednesday with condoms and approached a female actor posing as the "girl" he had been chatting with, police said.
Hance was arrested on a preliminary charge of child solicitation.
