INDIANAPOLIS - More Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra performances have been canceled, as the lockout over a labor dispute plays on.
The symphony announced Friday that the shows scheduled for Oct. 5 and 6 won't happen.
Orchestra members have started the process of filing for unemployment benefits, said Rick Graef, chairman of the ISO Musicians negotiating committee.
The musicians have been locked out by the Indianapolis Symphony Society since Sept. 10.
Graef said he feels both sides are making progress, but no deal has been reached.
The musicians will hold a second public concert Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Palladium in Carmel.
