MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. -- Looking to adopt a puppy or dog? 

The Morgan County Humane Society will have some of its adoptable pets at PetSmart in Franklin on Saturday, September 16.

It's part of PetSmart's National Adoption Weekend which is geared toward raising awareness of animals that have no home and helping them find a "furever" human friend.

The adoption event is from noon to 3 p.m. at the PetSmart, 1080 Morton Road, in Franklin.
