Morning fire at Harding St. Pub & Grill

Damage estimated at $80k

INDIANAPOLIS - A morning fire in a restaurant near downtown Saturday did an estimated $80,000 worth of damage.

Firefighters responded to the call just after 7:30 a.m. Saturday to find smoke and fire erupting from Harding Street Pub & Grill, located at 525 S. Harding St. Eleven IFD units were able to get the flames under control in 25 minutes.

No one was inside the building at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The business, owned for the last three years by Tim Abney and Adriana Poore, was scheduled to open at 8 a.m.
