INDIANAPOLIS -- A motorcyclist was killed Monday night in a rear-end collision with a semi-truck.
Witnesses told police a man was driving eastbound on a motorcycle on 38th Street near Lafayette Square when he lost his hat.
He apparently turned around to look at the same time he was accelerating and changing lanes, causing him to rear-end a semi-truck.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi driver wasn't seriously injured.
