SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. - A driver was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening, police said.
The crash happened in the 11500 block of County Road 600 West in Shelby County.
Police said the motorcycle was traveling southbound on 600 West when the driver lost control of the motorcycle for an unknown reason.
The driver, a 49-year-old man from New Palestine, was thrown from the motorcycle, officials said.
Police said the driver was transported via lifeline to Methodist Hospital and was listed in serious condition.
The driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, police said.
