MUNCIE, Ind. - The American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana will host a panel discussion about privacy and technology in Muncie on Wednesday.
The program entitled "Where Do We Draw the Line on Government Surveillance?" will be moderated by Phil Bremen of Ball State University. It begins at noon at the Innovation Connector in Muncie.
The panelists will include ACLU of Indiana Executive Director Jane Henegar, Democratic state Rep. Sue Errington of Muncie and Rich Hanson of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
The ACLU says the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, raises the prospect of a significant new avenue for the surveillance of American life.
