MUNCIE, Ind. -- A Muncie man is facing charges after his pit bull allegedly attacked a police officer.

Police were at the home of Donald Combs Wednesday night, trying to talk to him about a hit-and-run investigation.

When the officer opened the gate, the dog charged at him, biting him on the arm, calf, ankle and thigh of both legs.
