MUNCIE, Ind. - A man was arrested on drug charges Thursday after police spent hours searching his home for evidence related to a missing Dunkirk woman.
Jeremiah Rupel, 33, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of heroin and possession of a controlled substance.
Crews searched his home in the 300 block of Council Street for hours Wednesday, officials with the Muncie Police Department said.
Police said crews were looking for evidence related to 25-year-old Brianna DiBattiste. She was last seen June 16 and has been missing for two months.
