HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. - A man faces several charges after leading an Indiana state trooper on a chase while naked, police said.

Chad A. Knoll from Montpelier, Ohio, was found idling on the shoulder of Interstate 69 in Huntington County just before 9 a.m. Thursday, police said.

When a trooper approached the car, he found Knoll naked and touching himself, police said.

Knoll initially sped off, but he was stopped and arrested a few miles up the highway, police said.

Knoll was arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public nudity.

He was being held at the Huntington County Jail.
