NE Indiana man in wheelchair killed by train identified

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. - Investigators say they hope video footage will reveal more information about the circumstances surrounding the death of a northeastern Indiana man in a wheelchair struck by a train at a railroad crossing
Forty-one-year-old Anthony Sills of Kendallville died when struck by a train Tuesday evening while crossing the city's Main Street railroad tracks in a battery-powered wheelchair.
The News-Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1aq38XT ) a camera was mounted on the train's lead engine.
Witnesses told police the crossing gates were down, red signals were flashing and a bell was ringing indicating an approaching train when Sills attempted to cross the tracks.
Kendallville is about 25 miles northwest of Fort Wayne.
