INDIANAPOLIS -- Fans of Tim Hortons soon won't have to go far to get their fix.

The company announced Tuesday that it will build restaurants in Indianapolis and Lafayette.

There's no word yet on exact locations or when the Tim Hortons will open.

If you're not familiar with the restaurant, it specializes in coffee and other specialty drinks, fruit smoothies, baked goods, grilled and classic sandwiches, wraps and prepared soups.

Tim Hortons first opened in the U.S. in 1984.

The restaurants can now be found across Canada, the U.S and the Middle East.

Coffee shop chain Dunkin' Donuts made a similar announcement last year about intentions to expand in Indianapolis. Read more on that here.
