INDIANAPOLIS - The biggest names in college football are in Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine, the ultimate job interview for more than 300 prospects who aim to play professionally.
The big-league hopefuls will work to impress NFL coaches and trainers as they prepare for the NFL draft in April.
The Indiana Convention Center housed hundreds of equipment vendors that will showcase the players' strength and endurance. At nearby Lucas Oil Stadium, the nation's top football players will work to catapult their performance into a future with the NFL.
Visit Indy Spokesman Chris Gahl said the Combine has become an Indianapolis tradition.
"NFL executives and team owners are conditioned to coming to Indianapolis each and every February for the NFL scouting combine," Gahl said.
The combine runs through Tuesday.
