No injuries reported in SE-side school bus crash

INDIANAPOLIS - Crews responded to a crash involving a school bus and a police car Thursday morning on the southeast side of Indianapolis. Police said no one was hurt in the wreck.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) said at roughly 6:45 a.m. that a Perry-Meridian school bus was involved in a crash at South Sherman Drive and East Thompson Road.

Police said a police vehicle collided with the bus, but it was reportedly a mild collision.

Police said there were six students on the bus at the time, but none of them was injured.

Traffic is reportedly getting backed up as a result of the crash recovery.
