INDIANAPOLIS - Officials were investigating a report of a stabbing near Beech Grove High School on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the incident happened in the 5100 block of Hornet Avenue just after 3 p.m.
School officials said the incident happened off-campus as two male high school students were walking together and got into a fight with another male student.
The students were walking between campus and a nearby Burger King, officials said.
School Resource Officer Mark Parker said one male defended himself with a knife and injured both of the other males.
The two injured males were taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital and their condition was unknown, officials said.
The third male was taken into police custody. School officials said they would investigate if the student had the knife with him at school during the day.
School officials said there was no threat to the school and it was an isolated incident. All activities were scheduled as normal for all buildings, officials said.
Few other details were released.
