MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. - Authorities say a man kayaking and fishing apparently drowned after being swept away in the White River in central Indiana.
Conservation officers say 29-year-old Adam Fuller of Greenwood was kayaking with a friend Thursday evening in a rural area near Martinsville when his kayak flipped and some of his fishing gear went into the water.
Officers say he went to retrieve the fishing gear when he slipped and was caught by a strong current. Fuller's body was found in the river nearly three hours later in the area about 20 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
