INDIANAPOLIS - A downtown sign that makes thousands of Hoosiers laugh everyday will be going away for a while.
The One America sign at New York and Illinois streets is well-known among downtown workers for its quirky quips and humorous puns.
But the company is building a new parking garage on the site, so the sign is being put in storage for now.
When work is complete, the sign will be placed on the side of the garage for all to see.
The company's second sign, at Vermont Street and Capitol Avenue, will stay put during construction.
