Two killed in shooting on North Graceland Avenue

Two people were killed Thursday in a shooting on the north side, police confirmed.

The shooting happened around 2 p.m. on the 3100 block of North Graceland Avenue, not far from the Children's Museum.

Police said one victim was driving a car when he was shot. He then crashed the car into a stop sign, drove up on a curb and crashed into a tree.

The passenger in the car was also shot, police said.

The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died of his injuries.

On Friday, police released the identities of the two victims: Michael Brown, 21, and Antonio Lee, 31, both of Indianapolis.

No suspect information was immediately available.
