INDIANAPOLIS - One person was killed in an early morning crash on the city’s west side, officials said.

Wayne Township firefighters were called to the intersection of Rockville Road and Gasoline Alley just before 4:30 a.m. on reports of a serious crash involving a pickup truck and a semi.

Dispatchers said one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the trucks collided. No further specific details about the crash were immediately released.

Rockville Road was shut down for nearly two hours to allow crews to clean up a fuel spill.
