HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. -- Hundreds of kids in Plainfield were kept home again from school Tuesdaybecause their parents are concerned about recent online threats.
Now, parents in other school districts are also telling us that they don't feel safe sending their kids to school.
Danville Community High School has been threatened by the same person who says he will hurt Plainfield students.
That person has said if they can't attack Plainfield High School, they will just go to Danville.
The school says it is aware and security has been increased. Extra police officers are on campus.
But some parents say that's not enough.
One dad of a 15-year-old Danville student made his feelings known on Facebook in a post which has been shared now more than 700 times.

Landry told us there is no guarantee the person behind the threats won't actually do as they warn.
"Regardless of whether I think it's a real threat, there's always the possibility it can be real. I'd personally just rather him not be there to take that chance. How is a parent going to feel if they send their child to school knowing that something can happen and something does happen. I don't know if I could live with myself, " said Landry.
He says until an arrest is made, the school should be closed altogether and his family may even look into homeschooling at least until he person who made the online threats is caught.

And we're hearing from other parents who are concerned about the investigation.
Tammy Reid Haynes contacted us regarding an e-mail that was sent out to all Plainfield parents Monday. It says that all communication should go through the FBI. Also, that the threats against the school were deemed not credible.

When Tammy reached out to the FBI, they told her they couldn't say whether the threats were credible or not. She also says the FBI told her that parents should not have been advised to contact the FBI.
The FBI tells RTV6 that they are now the lead agency in the investigation into the Plainfield threats.
