Parents of Martinsville West Middle School students alerted to possible school threat

Police will monitor school Thursday morning

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. - Parents of students at Martinsville West Middle School – the same school where a student was shot last year – have been put on alert of possible threats made against the school.

Spokesman Randy Taylor said police will be monitoring the school Thursday morning.

Taylor would not say what the threat was, but he said school officials do not think it's a valid threat.
