LOGANSPORT, Ind. - Parents of a woman whose body has never been found say they are upset a central Indiana prosecutor has offered a Kokomo man charged in her death to plea deal that would allow him to plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter.

Teresa Edwards and David Armstrong tell the Pharos-Tribune that unless Travis Funke of Kokomo tells authorities where Kelly Armstrong's body is, they want him to stand trial for murder.  A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.

The parents say they don't know the terms of the plea agreement. The Kokomo Tribune reported on Feb. 15 that the plea agreement calls for Funke to plead guilty to voluntary manslaughter and receive a 50-year sentence, with 35 years in prison and 15 years suspended.
