INDIANAPOLIS -- Police say a missing Indianapolis teen was found in Wisconsin with a man she met on Facebook.

Christopher Smith, 29, of Milwaukee was arrested on October 15 at a McDonalds in Sheboygan, Wisconsin after the girl called police.

According to court documents when police found the 16-year-old she was crying in the McDonald's bathroom. She told officers that she was missing from Indianapolis and "just wanted to go home."

The teen told police that she ran away from home and was living on the street when Smith came and picked her up, forcing her to go to Wisconsin with him. Court documents say the teen met Smith on Facebook about two years earlier but they had never seen each other in person until a week earlier.

Smith told police that he only met the teen a couple of weeks earlier and that she told him her name was something entirely different and she was 18 or 19 years old.

According to court documents, Smith said that the teen's father and brother also told him that she was only 16 and that he figured out they were right after they had sex.

He told police that he brought the girl back to Wisconsin because they were planning to get a place together once his SSI check came in on November 1.

Court documents say that the teen's parents made contact with Smith on a couple of other occasions and that they told him that their daughter was a runaway.

The teen's parents drove to Wisconsin to pick her up.

Smith was arrested and charged with interfering with child custody and sexual intercourse with a child.
