INDIANAPOLIS - One person died after being shot multiple times, police said.
Metro police responded to the 9500 block of East 39th Street just after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday on reports of shots fired.
Police said one man was shot as many as four times. The victim was transported to Wishard Memorial Hospital in serious condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
Officials have not released any information on the victim's identity, pending notification of his family.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident or possible suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
