PERU, Ind. - A Peru man was facing attempted murder charges after police said he plotted to kill his ex-wife by shooting her.
Gregory Konrath, 49, appeared in the Miami County Court on Wednesday .
Officials said his current girlfriend tipped police off about the alleged plot, saying he wanted her to go along with it.
Konrath's ex-wife lives in Lafayette and was not shot, officials said.
Konrath was being held in the Miami County Jail on $250,000 bond.
