PLAINFIELD, Ind. -- The Plainfield Police Department has created a tip line as the primary way to report information associated with recent threats.
The number is 317-838-9565 ext. 7922.
The Plainfield Police Department said they have created the tip line due to the heavy volume of calls to the Hendricks County Communications Center, as well as posts and private messages to the police department's Facebook page.
"We have appreciated all of the positive comments that have been made in support of our officer's efforts. We will continue to patrol the town and remain vigilant until this situation has been resolved," a press release said.

Numerous threats have been to Plainfield schools, retailers and a movie theater.
Threats were made to the Shops at Perry Crossing and other retailers Sunday night.
Police kept the buildings open, unlike Friday night, when bomb threats made by the same person who threatened Plainfield schools on Thursday, prompted the evacuation and closure of the entire shopping center and an adjacent theater. Police cleared the threat at about 1 a.m. Saturday. No one was hurt, and no incidents were reported.
Among other threatening statements made Friday night, the poster wrote: "My advice? Avoid Perry crossing this weekend." The poster also claimed to have access to explosives and firearms.
The same poster wrote again Sunday night, saying that there would be "casualties," claiming to be armed with handguns, a knife and bombs. The post continued to target a young girl as the reason for his desire to kill and to taunt authorities for not being able to catch him.
The Facebook profile posting the threats has been deactivated and reactivated several times since the original threats to Plainfield schools just before midnight Wednesday.
