Indiana made national news last week when members of the "Periods for Pence" organization called Gov. Mike Pence's office to discuss their periods.

Now, more than 4,000 miles away, woman in Poland are doing something similar to their leader.

According to Yahoo.com, members of a Polish group are calling Prime Minister Beata Szydlo after she said she supports a total ban on abortion.

The group's Facebook pagedescription reads:

The Polish government want to control our uterus, ovaries and pregnancies. Isn’t it nice that they care so much? Let make it easier for them – let’s keep Prime Minister Mrs Beata Szydlo about detail of our cycles.

As the American ladies did in Indiana let’s besiege our Prime Minister with information, questions or doubts regarding our monthly cycle, periods, ovulations, vaginal secretions.

While women in Indiana are using the hashtag #PeriodsforPence, the women in Poland are using #TrudnyOkres which means "tough period."

The legislation Szydlo supports is known as a "citizen's initiative," meaning it has to be considered by lawmakers if it reaches 100,000 signatures. It would include criminal prosecution for doctors and mothers.

One woman called and said:

“Because you are so concerned with Polish women’s uteruses, that you want to equip them with a police officer and a prosecutor… I will save you some trouble… and kindly inform you that my period is coming. I should get it on Tuesday. At the moment, my boobs are aching, my legs and lower abdomen are swollen, and I have already eaten my chocolate Easter egg, as well as half of my husband’s.”
