INDIANAPOLIS - One man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Tuesday evening, police said.
Officers were called to the 2900 block of Draper Street on the southeast side around 8 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports that a person had been shot.
Police said two men were found at the scene, both with apparent gunshots wounds.
Joshua Jefferson, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man was conscious and alert and was taken to IU Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A possible third victim in the incident drove himself to Methodist for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said.
Investigators are questioning witnesses and collecting evidence at the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call detectives at 317-327-3475 or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
