CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. - One person was killed and three people were injured when a vehicle crashed into a tree early Wednesday in Clinton County, police said.
The crash was reported just before 1:30 a.m. near 900 West County Road 200 South in Frankfort.
Police said the vehicle was speeding on 200 South when it crossed a set of railroad tracks before going airborne. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a tree.
One unidentified passenger was thrown from the vehicle and later died at St. Vincent Hospital in Frankfort.
The driver, Ravinn Heavilon, 18, was flown by medical helicopter to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Another passenger, Kyle Bricker, 21, and a minor were treated at St. Vincent Hospital in Frankfort.
Police said no one in the car was wearing seatbelts.
