Police: 2 people shot outside west side Indianapolis bar
Victims hospitalized in serious condition
Police said the shooting happened just before 2 a.m. outside Bud's Tavern.

INDIANAPOLIS -
Two people were shot near a bar on the city's west side early Thursday, Indianapolis police said.
About 2 a.m. near 30 th Street and Lafayette Road, witnesses said they heard shots fired outside Bud's Tavern and called 911.
When police arrived at the scene, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot near the bar. Both victims were rushed to Wishard Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Investigators said they were interviewing witnesses to determine what prompted the shooting.
Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
