HENRY COUNTY, Ind. - A toddler was killed in a crash Wednesday night when a van slammed into the car he was riding in along a Henry County intersection, police said.
The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. on County Road 100 North near Wilburn Wright Road and Brown Road.
Investigators said Christopher Clark, 24, and his two children drove through the five-point intersection when a van slammed into his car.
Carson Clark, 2, was killed in the crash.
Investigators said stop signs are located on CR 100 for east-west traffic, but not for the other intersecting roads.
Christopher Clark told police he stopped before continuing through the intersection. The driver of the van, Rolanda Boggs, 47, of Moreland, told police that by the time she saw Clark's car, she didn't have time to stop.
Police did not immediately say if Boggs would face any charges. No other injuries were reported.
