On Saturday afternoon, police were sent to a home in the 11000 block of Henry Road in Jefferson County on reports of the alleged abuse of an elderly woman.

When police arrived at the home, they found numerous hypodermic syringes, pills, drug paraphernalia and a powder that was suspected to be a controlled substance.
