HENRY COUNTY, Ind. - Two people were arrested Friday in connection to the death of a 23-year-old Indianapolis man.
Edward Thompson, 34, and Melissa York, 26, were arrested in connection to the April 13 homicide of Zackery Soots , officials with the Indiana State Police said.
Soots’ body was found by a passerby along a rural road just south of Grant City in southwest Henry County.
Police said Thompson faces a murder charge and York faces a charge of assisting a criminal. Both suspects were being held in the Henry County Jail.
Investigators said the case is ongoing and they are asking for anyone who knew Soots and his last whereabouts to come forward.
