FISHERS, Ind. -
A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an armed jewelry store heist in Fishers that happened in June, police said.
Two employees at The Jewelry Gallery told police that two men came in, tied them up and held them at gunpoint as they robbed the store at 116th Street and Allisonville Road.
Owner Jason Hunt said the heist was caught on the store's surveillance camera.
"When (the suspect) first pulled the gun out I was just froze. I was stunned. I was like, Is this really happening?" Hunt said.
The employees were not injured.
On Tuesday, an arrest warrant was issued for one of the suspects in the case. Police accused Dwayne Pope, 19, of several felonies including robbery and criminal confinement. Pope was already in custody at the Marion County Jail awaiting trial on another criminal case.
The other suspect, described as a black man in his early 20s, is still at large.
Police asked anyone with information regarding the armed robbery to contact Det. Doug Baker at 317-595-3300.
