MADISON COUNTY, Ind. - A police badge and several long guns were among items stolen when an Indiana state trooper's home was burglarized, police said.

The trooper's Madison County home was broken into on May 3, and police are asking for information from the public about the crime.

In addition to the gold Indiana State Police badge and guns, the burglar stole a man's diamond ring, a gold chain and gold-spiked track shoes. Commemorative coins -- a State Police Super Bowl Coin, a silver State Police Value Coin and a silver Redkey District Value Coin -- were also taken.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Pendleton State Police Post at 765-778-2121 or 800-527-4752.
