INDIANAPOLIS -- A stolen pickup truck hit several vehicles during a police chase on Indianapolis' southeast side Wednesday morning.

The chase began when officers spotted the pickup near I-70 and Emerson Avenue.

Authorities say the driver, 31-year-old Jimmy Lee Moore, of Marion, Indiana, fled and headed toward Lawrence.

The chase ended when the pickup sideswiped a school bus near Brookville Road and Post Road and crashed in a wooded area.

A female passenger in Moore's vehicle, Tamara Trueblood, 42, of Swayzee, Indiana, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.

There were no children on board the bus and the driver was not hurt.

The pickup also hit two cars - one near 30th and Shadeland and one in Lawrence.

After crashing, Moore fled from police, who tracked him with the assistance of a K-9 officer to the 8800 block of Raymond Street. Moore was then taken into custody without resistance.

Police said Moore reached speeds of up to 85 miles per hour during the chase.

No other injuries were reported as a result of any of the crashes.
