INDIANAPOLIS -
A police chase early Monday ended with a van crashing into a home on the city's south side.
The chase got underway just after 12:30 a.m. near Stop 11 Road and Madison Avenue when police said a man and a woman inside a van were trying to evade officers.
Police said the man jumped out of the van and ran away, but the woman was taken into custody.
Residents inside the home at the time of the crash were not injured.
Police did not immediately say what prompted the chase or what charges the woman faced.
